Biography
Roshanak Akram is currently a doctoral student in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Tennessee, and works under the supervision of Dr. Rupy Sawhney. She holds an BS degree in Industrial Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic) in Iran.
She is currently working on developing an approach to improve packaging in the food supply chain industry by developing a high-performance optimization algorithm for moldable food bags
