Biography
Samuel Cuauhtli-Ollin Trevino Martinez is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville under the supervision of Dr. Rupy Sawhney. He completed his MS. degree in Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering at the University of Missouri-Columbia, and his BS. in Industrial and Systems Engineering at Monterrey’s Technological Institute of Higher Education (Monterrey Tech) in Mexico. He served during six years as the Dean of the Industrial and Systems Engineering undergraduate program at Monterrey Tech, Campus San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
Currently, he is working on research related to improving energy efficiency in manufacturing by developing production analytics and forecasting models.
