Biography
Túlio Fígaro Ulhoa is a master’s student in the Department of Industrial Engineering of the University of São Paulo (Brazil). He received his BS from Federal University of Triângulo Mineiro (Brazil) in Industrial Engineering. His research areas and interest are performance management, performance measurement, continuous improvement initiatives and lean healthcare. During his stay at the University of Tennessee as a visiting scholar, he developed a research project named "Performance indicators in lean healthcare environments: A comparison between Brazilian and American hospitals", supervised by Prof. Dr. Rapinder S. Sawhney from October, 2018 to January, 2019 and granted by São Paulo Research Foundation (grant nº 2018/05026-1).
