Biography
Born in Shijiazhuang, China. Xiaogen Lian received his bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering from Jiangnan University (2014) in China. Then he started his graduate study in Packaging Engineering (Packaging Machinery) (2014) and progressed to pursuing PhD degree in Light Industrial Machinery and Packaging Engineering (Packaging Dynamics and Transport Packaging) (2015) at Jiangnan University in China. He is currently a PhD visiting student in Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville under the supervision of Dr. Rupy Sawhney, working on Energy Absorption Properties and Theoretical Prediction Model of Paper Tubes in Distribution.
